ALBION SC Hawaii Club Methodology
There are many great examples of top level youth player development programs to learn from. We here at ALBION SC Hawaii will strive to create a “CULTURE” of player development and OHANA. We will look to work hard and become Hawaii’s premier soccer club.  Our leadership and staff coaches will always look to learn, improve and evolve our methods of developing our youth to new levels in the game. Our players will love the ball, display technical mastery, have the mindset to press defensively, and understand age specific positional play.

Our Major Influences:
ALBION SC Hawaii is a club that looks confidently into the Dutch School of Soccer, the KNVB, for tested methods to develop both players and teams.   With a country relatively small in population, the number of world-class players from Netherlands speaks volumes on their youth development methods.  Inside the Netherlands, there is special inspiration from AJAX Amsterdam, who have become world-renowned for their consistent development of world-class players and their playing style. Their lineage of top coaches like Rinus Michels, Johann Cryuff,  Louis Van Gaal, Frank DeBoer, and now Eric Ten Hagg each have taught a brand of soccer that is technical, attacking, possession based of positional play, and entertaining.   Along with the Dutch and AJAX influences, we have also been positively influenced by the methodology and philosophy of current Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola. from 2008-2011, we saw the game brought to terrific new levels.  Many of those players grew up inside their training grounds (Xavi,Valdes,Puyol,Iniesta,Messi, Fabregas,Pique, and many more).

Vertical Integration:
Vertical Integration is the deliberate philosophy that the youth and the first teams are connected and that they should play in a matching systems and with a similar style of play. From U8, U10, U12 and on up to the U18 team, consistency in teaching their ‘way of playing’  has led to consistent individual player development, player promotion, and dynamic results for their teams.
